It is important before the start of the challenge to take into account some basic rules:

- Players must choose a security word, which they will say when they want to stop any of the actions that are carried out in each of the 30 days.
- It is recommended that both participants maintain great trust between them.
- There must be a master role and a submissive role that may alternate during the 30 days.
- Never tie anything around your neck.
- It should not be tied tight.
- It should be played with round-tipped scissors within reach in case the submissive feels overwhelmed.
- The tests will increase in intensity as the days progress.
